| Indiana has awarded round 2 funding for the Next Level Trails Grant. Several trails in Hendricks county will be getting money for expansion. B&O Trail Association was recently awarded $4,583,050 the Next Level Trails program, which will go toward adding 6 more miles of trails linking to the section of the B&O trail being built by the Speedway Trails Association. Once complete, you can travel by trail from Hendricks country all the way to downtown Indy. Definitely looking forward to that! The future looks great for interconnectedness between the Vandalia Trial, B&O Trail, White Lick Creek Trail and others. I will have to do some research to see how these trail systems west of Indy compare nationally. |
